Este\naumento de notoriedad tiene la ventaja de permitir que muchas m\u00e1s personas lo conozcan\ny practiquen, pero presenta la desventaja de que, en muchos \u00e1mbitos,\nMindfulness es un concepto vulgarizado, poco claro y a menudo incomprendido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dentro de aquellos que no tienen\nexperiencia con la pr\u00e1ctica de Mindfulness, observo dos extremos: aquellos que\nreciben el concepto con la expectativa de que es una panacea para todos los\nmales y aquellos que lo niegan por conectarlo con varios mitos a su alrededor,\nes decir, a una pr\u00e1ctica religiosa, hippie, \u00abde moda\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quiz\u00e1s parte de esta confusi\u00f3n y\nmalentendido se debe a que Mindfulness es en s\u00ed mismo un concepto\nextremadamente simple, pero generalmente dif\u00edcil de cultivar y practicar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todos tenemos la capacidad de\n\u00abpracticar mindfulness\u00bb en varios momentos de nuestras vidas. De\nhecho, es una capacidad humana b\u00e1sica, pero el ritmo fren\u00e9tico en el que\nvivimos y la cantidad de distracciones que nos rodean han hecho que nos\nolvidemos de \u201cpracticar\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Mindfulness (traducido habitualmente\nen castellano como \u201catenci\u00f3n plena\u201d) es la capacidad de estar presente en el\nmomento actual, el aqu\u00ed y ahora, consciente de lo que sucede dentro de nosotros\n(pensamientos, emociones, sensaciones f\u00edsicas) y a nuestro alrededor. Y m\u00edralo\ncon una actitud de curiosidad, amabilidad y no juicio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La \u201catenci\u00f3n plena\u201d tambi\u00e9n se\npuede entender por lo que no es. Aunque algunas de las pr\u00e1cticas de atenci\u00f3n\nplena son pr\u00e1cticas meditativas (que con el tiempo tambi\u00e9n se han utilizado con\nfines espirituales), la atenci\u00f3n plena no es una religi\u00f3n, ni es inherentemente\nun concepto m\u00edstico o espiritual. Se puede practicar de manera perfectamente secular.\nLa atenci\u00f3n plena no es aclarar nuestros pensamientos y negar nuestras\nemociones. M\u00e1s bien, es entender c\u00f3mo funciona la mente y saber c\u00f3mo acoger y\nreconocer los pensamientos y las emociones para tratarlos mejor. La atenci\u00f3n\nplena tampoco es un \u00abtratamiento\u00bb para todos los males, no es una\nsoluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida, es una pr\u00e1ctica y, como tal, requiere intenci\u00f3n y disciplina.\nY un aprendizaje continuo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para practicar Mindfulness,\ntampoco tenemos que alejarnos y aislarnos del mundo. Como dice John Kabat-Zinn (responsable\nde introducir la atenci\u00f3n plena en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica): la verdadera\nmeditaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en tu vida. La atenci\u00f3n plena contempla varios tipos de\npr\u00e1ctica que exploraremos en otros art\u00edculos: algunas pr\u00e1cticas dedicadas, como\nla meditaci\u00f3n, y otras pr\u00e1cticas integradas que tienen como objetivo llevar\nesta calidad de atenci\u00f3n plena a los diversos momentos y tareas de la vida.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el concepto de Mindfulness es cada vez m\u00e1s conocido, m\u00e1s estudiado y m\u00e1s publicitado.
