{"id":2179,"date":"2020-04-23T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theschoolofwe.com\/?p=2179"},"modified":"2020-06-10T17:03:01","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T17:03:01","slug":"o-que-o-mindfulness-nao-e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theschoolofwe.com\/pt-pt\/o-que-o-mindfulness-nao-e\/","title":{"rendered":"O que o mindfulness n\u00e3o \u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p align=\"justify\">Se regressarmos a alguns anos atr\u00e1s (e n\u00e3o tantos assim!) o Mindfulness era um conceito completamente desconhecido para a maioria da popula\u00e7\u00e3o ou ent\u00e3o associado a algo raro, estranho e marginal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Hoje em dia o Mindfulness \u00e9 tema de capa das mais variadas revistas (como a Time), \u00e9 abordado em in\u00fameros livros que enchem as prateleiras de destaque das livrarias e \u00e9 abertamente praticado e aconselhado por CEOs, desportistas, empresas, universit\u00e1rios, etc.<p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Ainda assim, no meio do que alguns denominam como \u201cmindful revolution\u201d, permanecem muitos equ\u00edvocos, interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es ou expectativas err\u00f3neas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Com este artigo pretendemos clarificar alguns destes mitos em torno do mindfulness:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9 uma moda hippie ou new age<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Como disse anteriormente, h\u00e1 algum tempo atr\u00e1s o Mindfulness era (e muitas vezes erradamente) associado a grupos, contextos ou movimentos espec\u00edficos, parecendo algo complexo e raro. \u00c0 medida que foi sendo mais divulgado, foi-se tornando algo mais vis\u00edvel e por vezes encarado como \u201cuma moda\u201d. Na realidade, assistimos cada vez a uma maior divulga\u00e7\u00e3o do tema por duas raz\u00f5es principais: pela exist\u00eancia cada vez maior de evid\u00eancia cient\u00edfica sobre a pr\u00e1tica e benef\u00edcios do mindfulness (s\u00f3 em 2019 existiram cerca de 1200 artigos cient\u00edficos sobre o tema) e por uma maior abertura de pessoas (de v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas) com posi\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica assumirem naturalmente a sua pr\u00e1tica e os benef\u00edcios sentidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9 um conceito religioso ou espiritual<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Sabemos que muitas culturas ou religi\u00f5es utilizam pr\u00e1ticas ou rituais que facilitam o auto-conhecimento e a presen\u00e7a no momento presente (como exemplo a medita\u00e7\u00e3o, ora\u00e7\u00e3o, ioga, tai chi, etc). O Mindfulness n\u00e3o est\u00e1 relacionado com nenhuma religi\u00e3o ou pr\u00e1tica espiritual em particular, nem na realidade \u00e9 incompat\u00edvel com elas. \u00c9 por isso introduzido em contexto secular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00c9 importante clarificar que existem v\u00e1rios tipos de medita\u00e7\u00e3o e que a medita\u00e7\u00e3o Mindfulness \u00e9 apenas um desses tipos em que a inten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o treino da nossa aten\u00e7\u00e3o. Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 importante esclarecer que existem outras pr\u00e1ticas de mindfulness para al\u00e9m da medita\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9 libertar-me totalmente dos pensamentos<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">John Kabat-Zinn (fundador do programa MBSR e o reconhecido autor e orador sobre Mindfulness) responde de forma interessante a este mito referindo que se nos esfor\u00e7armos muito para nos libertarmos de todos os pensamentos, o m\u00e1ximo que conseguimos \u00e9 uma grande dor de cabe\u00e7a! Os pensamentos s\u00e3o naturais e v\u00e3o sempre surgir. O que pretendemos na pr\u00e1tica de mindfulness \u00e9 aprender a observ\u00e1-los com curiosidade, gentileza e n\u00e3o julgamento, sem nos deixarmos envolver demasiado por eles. Isso permite-nos identificar padr\u00f5es de pensamento, diminuir a rumina\u00e7\u00e3o e abrir espa\u00e7o para os pensamentos que na realidade s\u00e3o importantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">N\u00e3o \u00e9 para mim<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00c9 natural que para uma pessoa naturalmente apressada, hiperativa e stressada, a ideia de parar durante algum tempo e ficar a \u201cobservar\u201d os seus pensamentos, emo\u00e7\u00f5es ou sensa\u00e7\u00f5es corporais lhe pare\u00e7a imposs\u00edvel.  Costuma-se dizer que quando sentes que n\u00e3o tens tempo para parar ent\u00e3o \u00e9 porque precisas mesmo de o fazer. O tempo ocupado na pr\u00e1tica ajuda a acalmar a mente (e o corpo) e \u00e9 compensado por um maior focus, maior clareza de mente e uma maior viv\u00eancia de cada momento. O mundo continuar\u00e1 a ser \u201cca\u00f3tico\u201d e as ondas de stress aparecer\u00e3o, mas a pr\u00e1tica (com disciplina) ajudar\u00e1 a identificar, a lidar e a recuperar melhor desse stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9 uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida ou panaceia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Vive-se cada vez mais \u00e0 pressa e habitu\u00e1mo-nos a ter respostas cada vez mais r\u00e1pidas e imediatas para tudo o que necessitamos. Como os benef\u00edcios da pr\u00e1tica de mindfulness s\u00e3o cada vez mais estudados e divulgados, a expectativa de quem procura estas pr\u00e1ticas aumenta, esperando ver resultados r\u00e1pidos. \u00c9 importante clarificar que n\u00e3o \u00e9 a leitura de um livro, a frequ\u00eancia de um workshop ou at\u00e9 de um programa intensivo de 8 semanas que te vai tornar mais mindful. Como o nome indica, \u00e9 uma pr\u00e1tica. Para sentires benef\u00edcios, tem que existir compromisso, integra\u00e7\u00e3o, disciplina (e resili\u00eancia).
