As more women step into leadership positions, the impact of constant pressure, high expectations, and the difficulty of finding balance on health and quality of life is becoming increasingly visible. At the same time, there is a growing awareness that caring for our physical, emotional, and mental health is not separate from leadership: it is an essential condition for leading sustainably.
In this talk, Vanda de Sousa, pharmacist and co-founder of The School of We, reflected on how the challenges of contemporary leadership shape women’s relationship with themselves. From there, she explored the role of self-awareness, presence, and well-being in developing more human, balanced, and sustainable ways of leading.
